EFAST & RUSH

EFAST & RUSH Protocols

 Participants should have a basic understanding of Abdominal/Thoracic Sonography.  

Expect to spend 3 hours in the lab setting, using state of the art Ultrasound Simulators from Intelligent Ultrasound -BodyWorks and HeartWorks applications. 

There will be a short lecture to begin the course, and the rest will be all active participant scanning.

  • Prehospital applications
  • Hemoperitoneum /PTX
  • Cardiac activity
  • Hemothorax
  • Volume status and Volume Responsiveness
