Dr. O'Rourke is the Founder and Executive Medical Director of EMCC. She leads the team and keeps up with today's technology and applications when it comes to POCUS and Medical Simulation technology. When she is not seeing patients in the Emergency Room, you can find her keeping up with her teenage twins, or working on her next venture!
Taryn is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician and currently practices at Orange Park Medical Center in Florida. Taryn is a respected Core Faculty member of the Emergency Ultrasound GME program at Orange Park Medical Center.
John Shields is a cardiovascular and thoracic CRNA with over 30 years of clinical and leadership experience. His clinical practice as lead CRNA at Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute includes transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography along with Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS). John is certified in cardiovascular ultrasound and has been teaching transthoracic/transesophageal echocardiography and other point-of-care applications since 2016. Publications include the AANA Journal, Journal of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesia, Anesthesia and Analgesia and Nursing Clinics of North America.
Matthew is board certified in Emergency medicine and currently the Ultrasound Director at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL.
Diana is the Division Director, AEMUS Fellowship Director, and Faculty Ultrasound Director at North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She is also APD at UCF North Florida Emergency Residency. She did her Residency and AEMUS Fellowship at the University of Florida and fell in love with Gainesville. Her passions are Medical and Ultrasound education, Ultrasound Clinical Integration, and Resuscitative Ultrasound in Critical patients. When not in the ED, teaching at the bedside, or reviewing ultrasound exams, Diana likes exploring Gainesville or going to the beach with her two children.
Joshua is an Emergency Medicine Specialist in Gainesville, Florida. He graduated with honors from The University of Florida College of Medicine in 2018. Dr. Middleton is affiliated with North Regional Medical Center.
