Intro to POCUS Courses

Participants should be new to Ultrasound and describe themselves as beginners with very limited Ultrasound exposure and no previous pocus courses.

POCUS Concepts: A Hands-on Workshop for Beginners

Individual- $500 / Group of 10- $4000

This event is for the brand new begginer with ZERO ultrasound experience. 

Get a good base of POCUS and the perfect foundation to add scanning skills upon!

Our pocus courses start with a lecture presentation, visual representations of imaging parameters and concepts in ultrasound physics. Conclude the session with 1 hour in the lab setting applying your newly acquired skills!

POCUS Concepts: An Introduction to Abdominal Ultrasound Scanning

Individual- $600 / Group of 10- $5500

Participants should have a basic understanding of Ultrasound Physics and Principles, and be able to identify basic sonographic anatomy. Previous pocus courses or critical care ultrasound courses helpful!

POCUS Concepts: Intro to Cardiac -Transthoracic Echo

Individual- $1000/ Group of 10- $9500

Participants should have a basic understanding of Ultrasound Principles, a previous cardiac ultrasound course or critical care ultrasound course helpful, but not necessary. 

  • Patient preparation, Probe selection, and Mechanics
  • Knobology
  • Normal anatomy

  • Common Artifacts/Pitfalls
  • Clinical application/Tips for image acquisition.

Vascular Ultrasound: Bedside Applications

Individual- $850 / Group of 10- $8000

  • PIV Vascular Access
  • IJV line placement

  • Lower Extremity DVT limited exam

Pelvic US- Trans-abdominal & Trans-vaginal approach

Individual- $750 / Group of 10- $7000

 Locate & Identify Uterus, Ovaries, and Pelvic Vasculature in both trans-abdominal & trans-vaginal methods of imaging.

  • Evaluate both normal and abnormal pathology, with simulated commonly visualized cases.
  • Case based lectures and images help connect learned skills with real world experiences

OB Ultrasound: First Trimester Trans-abdominal & Trans-vaginal approach

Individual- $750 / Group of 10- $7000

Review the sonographic signs of pregnancy, and confirmation of IUP

  • Fetal Heart Rate using M-Mode
  • Learn the primary methods of sonography dating (CRL, GS, Yolk Sac)
  • Overview the criteria used to determine viable versus non-viable pregnancy in the first trimester.
  • Case Presentations and Simulated views of commonly encountered abnormalities identified during 1st-trimester sonography.

Soft Tissue & Nerve

Individual- $750 / Group of 10- $7000

Soft Tissue Scanning Basics and Nerve identification techniques.

Participants should have a basic understanding of Ultrasound Physics and Principles.

Individual- $1000/ Group of 10- $9500

Participants should already practice basic Cardiac POCUS, or have completed a cardiac ultrasound course or critical care ultrasound course.

Bio-Physical Profiles (BPP) 

  • Fetal Lie

  • Assessment of GA using a combination of biparietal diameter (BPD), head circumference (HC), abdominal circumference (AC), and femur length (FL).

Transesophageal Echo: Hands-on TEE Simulation

Individual- $1299/ Group of 10- $12,000

This course is customized for the EMED, ICU, Anesthesia Provider, or those interested in a critical care ultrasound course or TEE cardiac ultrasound course.

Transesophageal Echo: Part II Advanced Calculations

Individual- $1499/ Group of 10- $14,000

This course is customized for the EMED, ICU, or Anesthesia Provider familiar with TEE.

  • Advanced Pathology
  • Additional Cardiac TEE Views
  •  Assessing acute cardiac changes using Doppler assessment, M-Mode, and Velocity Calculations. 
  • Shock and Resuscitation identifiers, techniques, and applying these methods in the surgical, trauma, or critical care environment.
